Provide inputs into make/buy determinations, source selections and supplier qualifications.\nTroubleshoot supplier problems and issue resolution.\nMaintain thorough and organized Purchase Order files.\nProcure major and critical production commodities and materials. Lead negotiations of terms and pricing. Develop requests for purchase quotation.\nEstablish long-term supply subcontracts to support organization.\nMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with production planning.\nEnsure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and other regulatory requirements.\nProficiently utilize the MRP system for efficient procurement processes.\nMaintain clear and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues. \nRequirements:\nBS/BA Degree required.\nExperience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Operating instructions may be provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\nComputer proficiency is required; must have above-average proficiency in MS Excel, as well as general proficiency in other MS Office Products\nWorking knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is required. Experience with Microsoft AX is preferred\nDemonstrated communication (oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills\nExperience calculating figures and amounts using basic algebra and geometry such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.\nSolve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.\nDemonstrated ability to maintain positive team and supplier relationships.\nFacilitate a collaborative relationship with Operations and other support functions.\nMust be US citizen and must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance\nPreferred:\nKnowledge of ITAR, FAR, DFARS, and DPAS provisions and clauses is preferred\nExperience working in an ISO 9001/AS 9100 environments preferred\nAPICS Certification and Lean Manufacturing knowledge preferred\nComplete salary range for this role: $68,665 - $117,700\nThis position is restricted to U.S. citizens due to U.S. federal government contracts that require the employment of only persons who are U.S. citizens.
