Become a part of the “strength within.”\nHexcel is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Sourcing Engineer for our Americas sites; preferred location is Salt Lake City, UT, USA with other Hexcel sites considered.\nThe selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:\nManaging supplier quality activities across Americas sites and the direct materials supply base. \nLeading supplier corrective action processes, including containment, root cause analysis, corrective action verification, and closure. \nConducting supplier and site investigations related to quality, delivery, capacity, and performance issues. \nPerforming supplier audits and managing corrective actions through completion. \nMaintaining supplier risk assessments, mitigation plans, action tracking, and status reporting. \nSupporting supplier performance management through scorecards, business reviews, and trend analysis. \nDriving supplier qualification, development, risk-reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives. \nSupporting new supplier onboarding, qualification, and production readiness activities. \nCollaborating with Quality, Sourcing, Engineering, Research & Technology, Operations, and suppliers to implement supplier development plans. \nSupporting sourcing, cost reduction, waste reduction, lead-time improvement, and audit readiness initiatives.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical discipline.\nTwo to five years of experience in quality, manufacturing, process engineering, supply chain, or a related field.\nWorking knowledge of process mapping, problem-solving techniques, and project management principles.\nExperience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.\nStrong communication, collaboration, organizational, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and identify when escalation is needed.\nAbility to travel to supplier and Hexcel locations as business needs require (10-15%).\nExperience in aerospace, composites, or another regulated manufacturing environment preferred\nEligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.
