Training Supervisor

Hexcel is currently seeking Training Supervisor for our Pottsville, PA, USA location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

• Oversee the Pottsville training program, ensuring employees receive effective onboarding, qualification, and ongoing development opportunities.
• Conducting gaps analysis, partner with subject matter experts to update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and certification process for existing processes and new processes. Complete benchmarking studies to determine and define best practices and implement improvements.
• Leads the design and implementation of comprehensive new hire training programs that promote safety, quality, productivity, and employee success.
• Designing and creating on-the-job training program for operations, maintenance, and lab departments while collaborating with functional managers and other Hexcel training departments to implement a “world class” training program for new and current employees.
• Directing and coordinating the training department and regulatory training.
• Serving as the subject matter expert (SME) and admin role for the learning management system (LMS).
• Tracking training compliance and participate in customer and accrediting agency audits to demonstrate training compliance.
• Updating an effective employee on-boarding training program that incorporates customer, safety, and quality requirements.
• Always operates in compliance with Hexcel Pottsville’s Safety and Quality Management Systems as well as all policies, procedures, and code of Business Conduct.
• Perform similar job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, Education, Human Resources, or related field, or Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP/CPTD) or similar certification.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible training, learning and development, workforce development, or manufacturing leadership experience OR 3+ years developing curriculum and training programs.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, automotive, chemical, or related production environment preferred and experience supporting onboarding, technical skills development, and employee certification programs.
• Experience with Adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies, Curriculum development and learning management systems (LMS), Manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations.
• Training effectiveness measurement and workforce analytics.
• Quality systems, compliance requirements, and EHS training standards.
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, Strong project management and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
• Ability to influence leaders and drive organizational change, Strong interpersonal, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Learning Management Systems (LMS), ERP and manufacturing systems experience preferred.
• Regular attendance on company premises is required.
