This position offers the opportunity to lead technical projects at the interface of polymer science, analytical chemistry, and data analytics. You will support new product development, regulatory compliance, and advanced materials research programs.\nThis role requires hands-on lab expertise, strong data science skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple projects.\nWhy Join Us:\nOpportunity to work on cutting-edge research with real-world impact. \nCollaborative and intellectually stimulating work environment. \nCompetitive salary and benefits package. \nCareer development opportunities through training and innovation programs. \nJob Responsibilities\nDevelop and validate analytical and quality control (QC) methods, including Liquid Chromatography (LC) method development. \nPerform and interpret analyses using LC, Gas Chromatography (GC), Elemental Analysis, IR, GPC, and mass spectrometry (MS). \nTroubleshoot, calibration, maintain, and repair laboratory instrumentation. \nWork closely with R&D scientists and chemists to support product development and research programs. \nManage analytical databases; use SQL for data structuring and querying.Utilize LIMS and electronic lab notebooks (ELNs) to integrate data workflows. \n\nHandle large datasets from polymer synthesis and performance testing. \nAssist in data interpretation. \nDevelop tools for high-throughput screening and data-driven polymer design. \nCreate and communicate technical documentation, reports, and scientific presentations. \nTravel frequently during the first few years for collaboration, training, and technical support. \nMinimum Qualifications\nMaster’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a related scientific field. \nMinimum 2 years of hands-on lab experience in analytical chemistry. \nStrong math foundation, including advanced algebra and statistical methods. \nProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (or equivalent tools). \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Python, SQL, R, and data tools such as Dotmatics. \nStrong background in mass spectrometry interpretation across material types. \nExperience developing and managing scientific databases. \nKnowledge of machine learning, multivariate analysis, and predictive modeling. \nExperience with LIMS and ELNs. \nDemonstrated ability to lead and support multiple cross-functional R&D initiatives. \nAble to prioritize and manage multiple critical tasks simultaneously. \nCapable of workingindependently to plan, organize, and execute projects. \nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills. \nComfortable collaborating across functions and locations. \nAdept at communicating scientific insights clearly to diverse teams. \nOther\nWe are an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
