is responsible for the Maintenance organization at the Pernis site, including Maintenance Execution, Planning & Scheduling, Warehousing and Discipline Engineering.\nJob Objective:\nThe Maintenance Manager ensures safe, predictable and efficient execution of all maintenance activities, contributing to reliable plant operation, asset performance and cost control.\nThe role operates within the strategic direction and priorities of the Technical organization.\nJob Responsibilities\nEssential functions:\nEnsure safe, compliant and efficient execution of all maintenance activities (preventive, corrective and emergency)\nLead and manage the maintenance organization to deliver reliable and predictable performance\nEstablish and maintain effective maintenance processes, standards and procedures\nManage maintenance execution in line with agreed planning, budget and quality requirements\nDrive continuous improvement of maintenance performance and asset reliability\nDecision making authority:\nDecides on day-to-day maintenance execution, including prioritization within agreed plans and available resources\nDecides on allocation of maintenance resources and contractor deployment within approved budgets\nDefines and improves maintenance work processes, procedures and execution standards\nTakes operational decisions required to ensure safe and efficient maintenance execution\nProvides input and recommendations for maintenance budgets, asset strategies and improvement initiatives\nEscalates and aligns on priorities, major technical decisions and deviations from plan with the Technical Manager\nKey Relationships:\nOPS Manager TA Manager, Contract Manager, Manager of Projects, Reliability Engineer, Cost control.\nResponsibilities:\nThe Maintenance Manager reports to the Technical manager and is part of Technical Management Team.\nGeneral:\nAccountable for safe and efficient execution of all maintenance activities\nEnsure clear ownership and coordination of maintenance-related issues and technical support activities\nEnsure effective planning, scheduling and backlog control of maintenance work\nManage maintenance costs within budget and drive efficiency improvements\nEnsure effective contractor management in line with company standards\nMaintain and improve maintenance systems, processes and data quality\nDrive continuous improvement through structured problem solving, performance review and reduction of failuresEnsure timely escalation of operational, technical and resource issues where required\n\nHSE/Q:\nAccountable for compliance with all HSE, quality and regulatory requirements\nAccountable for HSE/Q performance of the maintenance organization and contractors\nEnsure safe execution of all maintenance activities through enforcement of standards and procedures\nPromote a strong safety culture and continuous HSE-improvement\nPeople Management:\nLead, manage and develop a high-performing maintenance organization\nPromote accountability, ownership and professional behavior within the maintenance organization\nAddress performance, behavior and non-compliance in a timely and consistent manner\nEnsure appropriate staffing, competencies and team development\nSet clear objectives and manage performance of the team\nAct as a role model in safety, compliance and company values\nKPI’s:\nAccountable for maintenance performance through defined KPIs (HSE, quality, planning, cost and reliability)\nMonitor, report and drive performance improvement based on KPI outcomes\nEnsure transparency and consistency in maintenance performance reporting\nKnowledge / Education / Skills / Qualifications:\nKnowledge / Education / Skills / Qualifications:\nActs and interacts at Bachelor level;\nMinimum of 10 years relevant maintenance experience, preferably in an international environment;\nExperienced in development of standards and procedures.\nExperience with maintenance systems (e.g. SAP) and data-driven performance management;\nPeople manager and Team player;\nStrong communication skills on both strategic and operational level.\nEnglish and Dutch language skills, both written and
