Visit our Mission and Culture doc here. \nPosition Summary\nAs a Backend Engineer (Infrastructure) at HeyGen, you'll spearhead the development of core systems and infrastructure crucial to powering our products. Your expertise will be instrumental in crafting scalable, reliable, and efficient backend systems tailored to accommodate our expanding user base.\nKey Responsibilities\nSystem Development: Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient foundational systems. Examples include:\nData Infrastructure: Forge the next generation of data systems to fuel our analytics\nCloud Infrastructure: Multi-vendor GPU capacity management and scheduling\nML Infrastructure: Construct the ML training infrastructure to enhance our AI researchers’ productivity, and inference systems to optimize the scalability and performance of our video GenAI.\nProduct Infrastructure: Create the foundation for HeyGen product\nCollaboration: Work closely with product engineers, AI researchers to deliver best performant systems.\nPerformance Monitoring: Monitor backend systems for performance, errors, and anomalies. Implement fixes and improvements as needed.\nCode Quality: Maintain high code quality through regular code reviews, pair programming, and writing unit and integration tests.\nContinuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest system technologies and best practices to ensure HeyGen remains at the forefront of technology.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n2+ years of experience working on scalable and performant systems.\nProficiency in python or c++.\nExperience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nStrong knowledge of API design and development.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.\nExperience with Machine Learning Infrastructure especially computer vision.\nPrior experience in a startup or fast-paced tech environment.\nWhat HeyGen Offers\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\nDynamic and inclusive work environment.\nOpportunities for professional growth and advancement.\nCollaborative culture that values innovation and creativity.\nAccess to the latest technologies and tools.\nSalary Range\n$180,000 - 240,000 annually\nPlease note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
