Visit our Mission and Culture doc here. \nPosition Summary\nHeyGen is looking for a proactive, high-ownership IT Systems & Operations Owner to join our team in the Palo Alto, San Francisco or LA office. \nIn this role, you won't just close support tickets-you will own our IT infrastructure, security footprint, and physical workspace operations. You will act as the primary point of contact for all things IT, balancing immediate tactical unblocking with long-term strategic automation. As we scale, you will eventually manage external contractors to support day-to-day tasks, keeping your focus on architecture, cost optimization, and operational excellence.\nCore Responsibilities\nSecurity & Endpoint Management\nData Protection: Implement and oversee Data Loss Prevention (DLP) frameworks to safeguard company and customer data.\nEndpoint Security: Manage Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tooling to monitor, detect, and mitigate workforce security threats.\nAccess Control: Strictly execute technology onboarding and offboarding, ensuring zero-lag access revocation during departures.\nTooling, Licensing & Next-Gen IT\nSaaS Management: Provision, manage, and audit user access across our entire corporate software stack.\nAI Workforce Administration: Manage the deployment and compliance of \"AI employees\" and automated workflows integrated into our business.\nCost Ownership: Act as a financial steward by auditing license utilization and identifying opportunities to optimize software spend.\nOffice Operations & Engineering Collaboration\nWorkplace Infrastructure: Maintain physical office IT hardware, equipment, and conference room media setups in our Bay Area hubs.\nHigh-Leverage Support: Act as the strategic layer for employee onboarding infrastructure; guide teammates on setting up environments rather than troubleshooting basic helpdesk queries.\nSolution Implementation: Partner closely with our core engineering teams to test and deploy custom, internal IT automation tools.\nExperience & Requirements\nProfessional Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or a similar high-ownership IT role, preferably within a fast-scaling tech startup.\nSecurity Foundation: Proven experience configuring and managing EDR systems and implementing DLP policies.\nVendor & Project Management: Experience acting as a primary point of contact for vendors, with the demonstrated ability to eventually manage external contractors or support teams.\nQualifications & Traits\nLocation: Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or LA with the ability to work regularly from the office to manage hardware and conference room infrastructure.\nBias for Action: You are obsessive about unblocking users quickly, prioritizing a seamless internal user experience.\nAutomation Mindset: You look at every manual process and ask, \"How can we make this self-serve?\"\nResourcefulness: You know how to leverage internal software engineers to build solutions, while independently managing vendors and contractors.\nWhat HeyGen Offers\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\nDynamic and inclusive work environment.\nOpportunities for professional growth and advancement.\nCollaborative culture that values innovation and creativity.\nAccess to the latest technologies and tools.\nSalary Range\n$150,000 - 190,000 annually\nPlease note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
