Technician duties include preventive and predictive maintenance of production equipment and secondary items. We are looking for a team member with strong knowledge of electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics.\nTechnician responsibilities:\n Completion of all Preventive and Predictive work orders generated by EQMS. Goal is 92 % completion.\n\nResponsible for communicating potential failures discovered performing PM activity and scheduling the repair activity.\n\nAssists in the development, procurement, installation, and evaluation of new production equipment.\n\nAssists with tooling Asset Identification and tagging program (COT).\n\nAssists Engineering with tooling modifications when necessary.\n\nObeys all safety rules and policies. Responsible for their own personal safety and that of their fellow employees and follow safety standard operating procedures (SOP’s) specific to their job.\n\nImmediately report and hazard or any defect in the equipment, which may endanger themselves or another employee, to their Supervisor/Manager.\n\nProperly wear the Personal Protective Equipment provided by the employer as required.\n\nRequirements include:\n 5+ years' experience in maintenance, preferably in automotive industry.\n\n Strong mechanical aptitude.\n\n Be familiar with all safety features and requirements for the safe operation of equipment/machinery.
