At H&H, you’ll join a firm that is building on its legacy by aligning expertise, expanding opportunity, and positioning itself for long-term, sustainable growth.\nResponsibilities\nProvide lead structural engineering and project engineering responsibilities on design projects\nPrepare detailed plans for new and rehabilitation bridge designs\nPerform engineering deign calculations\nDevelop contract specifications, construction cost estimates, and preparation of contract bid documents\nLead a team of structural engineers on design projects\nPerform field inspections to evaluate existing conditions, document findings, and record measurements in the field\nPerform QA/QC duties for projects\nProvide mentoring and training to junior engineers\nAssist with preparation of task proposals\nRequirements\n B.S. degree in Civil Engineering\n Professional Engineering License \n A minimum of ten years of experience in transportation projects with a focus on bridge design (preferred experience in the Mid-Atlantic Region)\n Experience in conceptual, preliminary, and final design plan production of bridge projects following Federal and State codes\n Experience with perform bridge load ratings \n Ability to work effectively as part of a design team and manage small design groups and projects\n Must be detail and goal-oriented, a self-starter and proficient in both verbal and written communication\n Ability to develop CAD drawings in Microstation, Open Roads Designer, and AutoCAD\n Ability to develop proposals, schedules and manage tasks independently\n Benefits\nSalary Range- $135,000-$175,000 annually.
