This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys tackling complex problems and influencing high-stakes deals. You’llbe deeply embedded in enterprise opportunities, engaging with senior stakeholders and helping align technology, business value, and customer outcomes.\nTeamwork and shared enthusiasm are a core part of our culture, which is why this role involves joining us in the Boston office for 3 days each week.\nWhat You’ll Do: \nPartner with Account Executives and Account Managers to advance new business and expansion opportunities.\nLead discovery with insurance business and technology stakeholders to understand workflows, uncover challenges, and establish requirements and measurable success criteria.\nCreate reusable demo content, discovery guides, and value-selling resources and provide guidance and best practices across teams.\nDeliver tailored demonstrations and solution presentations that connect Hi Marley’s capabilities to customer priorities.\nIndependently lead pilot engagements from scoping through evaluation, aligning customer and internal teams on objectives, timelines, and success criteria, coordinating execution, and presenting results to inform purchase and expansion decisions.\nBuild business cases and ROI models using customer data and clearly defined assumptions to demonstrate operational and financial impact.\nSupport RFPs, proposals, competitive positioning, and objection handling, collaborating with internal experts to validate solution fit and address customer requirements.\nHelp customers evaluate AI-enabled capabilities, explaining their applications, limitations, and implications for insurance workflows.\nPartner with Product, Implementation, and Customer Success to communicate customer needs, surface solution gaps, and transfer agreed requirements and success criteria. \nWhat We’re Looking For: \n5-7+ years of experience in customer-facing consulting, solutions consulting, or sales engineering roles, including at least 3 years working in or advisingthe insurance industry (P&C strongly preferred; familiarity with claims, service, or digital operations a plus).\nDemonstrated ability to lead discovery, translate business needs into solution recommendations, and deliver compelling demonstrations and presentations.\nStrong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret customer data, develop business cases, and explain the assumptions behind projected value.\nExperience engaging executive, business, and technical stakeholders and translating complex concepts into clear business value.\nWorking knowledge of SaaS applications, integrations, APIs, and data flows sufficient to discuss solution fit and collaborate effectively with technical specialists.\nA genuine curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, paired with the judgment to apply them thoughtfully and responsibly\nExperience working with or positioning AI-enabled software, with the ability to explain relevant use cases and limitations.\nStrong written communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and coordinate contributions across teams.\nComfort taking ownership and adapting to changing priorities in a growing company.\nAbility to travel up to 50%. \nCompensation, Benefits & Perks: \nAt Hi Marley, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices. The annual base salary for this role is expected to fall within the range of [$117,000-$218,000], depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Offers are determined based on these factors as well as internal peer equity. It’s most common for new hires to start near the midpoint of the range, allowing room for growth as employees develop in their role. In addition to base pay, this role includes a variable compensation component.
