Olsbergs is a proud part of Hiab, a world-leading supplier of load handling equipment for road transport and associated intelligent, smart connected solutions.\nWe are looking for a driven and hands-on Hydraulic Engineer who wants to be part of developing our products and ensuring the highest quality and functionality. You will be part of the R&D team on site in Eksjö, which focuses on developing new, innovative hydraulic solutions that drive our future product development. Initially, you will have an important role in our ongoing projects to develop the next generation of production equipment.\nMain tasks and responsibilities\nHydraulic system design:\nDevelop, design and implement hydraulic systems for both new and existing production equipment.\nTesting and commissioning:\nPerform tests and functional checks of our in-house developed production equipment.\nTechnical Documentation:\nCreate technical documentation, including drawings, schematics and instructions.\nQuality assurance:\nEnsure that all solutions and installations meet internal quality standards and relevant safety regulations.\nRole Development and Future\nThis role offers an outstanding opportunity for long-term development with us. When the production equipment is commissioned, a handover takes place and the role gradually transitions to an R&D function. You will then focus on further developing our existing products, as well as developing new, innovative hydraulic solutions that drive our future product development.\nCollaboration with our R&D departments at each application unit will give you a great opportunity for variety and breadth of product development in an international environment.\nWhat you’ll need to succeed\nUniversity degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics or other relevant technical field\nExperience in working with hydraulics, including design, commissioning and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems\nGood knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings and hydraulic diagrams. Experience with relevant CAD is an asset\nYou are a practical person who enjoys performing measurements, adjustments and tests directly on the equipment yourself\nYou can conduct your work independently, take your own initiative and have a very good ability to structure and document your work\nGood communication and collaboration skills\nSwedish and English in speech and writing.\nYou will be part of\nA varied and challenging role with the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally within Olsbergs, part of HIAB.
