We believe in more than just work - we believe in making a difference for our customers to building a better tomorrow.\nSay Hi! to your next challenge - explore the opportunity and apply below!\nYour mission\nTheSenior Payroll Specialist is responsible for the seamless execution of the North American payroll operations, acting as the subject matter expert for tax withholdings, benefit deductions, and regulatory compliance, maintaining the integrity of our compensation systems.\nYou will lead the end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.\nBased in Sofia, Bulgaria, you will join a global People Services team, operating in a hybrid working model with international stakeholders. Standard working hours are 09:00 - 18:00 EET, with a flexible schedule of approximately еight late shifts per month (13:00 - 22:00 EET) to ensure effective alignment across regions\nKey responsibilities\nProcess multiple weekly/bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for the US legal entities. \nUpdate, maintain and ensure accuracy of relevant payroll related information across multiple databases.\nPrepare timesheet information for upload as necessary.\nReview accuracy of payroll deductions and withholdings. Initiate corrective action when necessary.\nPrepare and distribute reports from the HRIS/payroll system as needed.\nReview payroll summary reports for accuracy.\nHandle accruals for 401k and PTO, as required by current business model.\nPrepare tax reconciliation - including appropriate year end balancing for tax purposes, bank reconciliation, general ledger preparation and benefit billing between legal entities.\nCommunicate effectively to all levels of the organization.\nProcess payroll tickets and employees’ inquires via ServiceNow platform in accordance to agreed SLAs.\nWhat we are looking for\nEducation:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent.\nExperience:\nMinimum 3 years of payroll and HR experience.\nMinimum 2 years multi-state or global payroll environment, preferably US market.\nSkills, competencies & desired behaviour:\nStrong analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.\nAbility to work under pressure to strict deadlines.\nCollaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and departments.\nAbility to work on own initiative and be pro-active, with a can-do attitude.\nTechnical proficiency in Google Workspace, HRIS, Payroll, and Time & Attendance systems.\nFull professional fluency in English for effective business communication. \nDemonstrated ability to work with remote teams.\nContinuous improvement mindset.\nEager to actively contribute to our Employees First culture.\nSafety First mindset.\nWhat we offer\nYou’ll join a global People Services team that lives by our \"Employees First\" culture.
