If you thrive in environments where your work has a direct, measurable impact, you will fit right in.\nPosition Overview\nWe’re looking for a Logistics & Master Data Specialist to join the Hi-Altitude team and play a key role in keeping our products, inventory, and operational data moving accurately and efficiently.\nIn this role, you’ll oversee logistics coordination across our suppliers, freight partners, and 3PL, while owning the accuracy and integrity of the item, product, and vendor data that supports our inventory, fulfillment, costing, and reporting. You’ll help ensure products are set up correctly across our systems, shipments arrive on schedule, inventory stays accurate, and our data is ready to support the company as we scale.\nThis is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys bringing structure, accuracy, and organization to complex operations. You’ll work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Product Development, Finance, and Systems, and report directly to the Director of Operations & Supply Chain.\nResponsibilities\nLogistics & Fulfillment:\nCoordinate transportation, receiving, and fulfillment activities across suppliers, freight partners, and our 3PL.\nMonitor domestic and international shipments to ensure products, packaging, and components arrive accurately and on schedule.\nPartner with Supply Chain and our 3PL to support timely fulfillment across DTC and B2B channels.\nReview receipts and inventory movements against purchase orders and invoices, identifying and resolving discrepancies such as short shipments, overages, or receiving errors.\nMonitor transportation and fulfillment costs, landed costs, and carrier performance to identify opportunities for greater efficiency.\nHelp maintain strong service levels with 3PL and logistics partners and support ongoing performance reviews.\nMaster Data & Systems:\nOwn the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of item, product, and vendor master data across our ERP and warehouse systems.\nMaintain SKUs, UPCs/GTINs, bills of materials (BOMs), kits, assemblies, dimensions, weights, costs, and packaging attributes.\nEstablish and maintain data standards, naming conventions, and processes that keep information consistent and reliable across systems.\nManage new item setup, product changes, and deactivations from intake through validation and implementation.\nIdentify and resolve data discrepancies, duplicate records, incorrect mappings, and other issues that can impact inventory, fulfillment, costing, or reporting.\nPartner with Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and Systems to ensure new products and packaging are set up accurately and on time.\nSupport the company’s ERP transition, including data cleanup, mapping, validation, and migration of item and BOM data.\nDevelop simple audits, reports, and processes that help proactively identify and prevent data quality issues.\nInventory & Operational Support:\nSupport inventory accuracy through reconciliation and investigation of discrepancies across our warehouse and systems.\nPartner with Supply Chain to maintain accurate purchase order, receiving, and inventory records.\nMonitor 3PL inventory levels and support the replenishment of packaging and other operational materials.\nReview 3PL invoices and operational charges for accuracy and alignment with agreed-upon services and budgets.\nInvestigate operational issues such as Amazon FBA chargebacks and work cross-functionally to resolve them.\nProcess Improvement:\nIdentify opportunities to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of logistics and data processes.\nDocument and improve SOPs, workflows, and controls to create consistent and repeatable processes.\nUse operational and performance data to identify trends, solve problems, and improve how we work.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nIn your first six months, you’ll help establish a strong operational foundation by:\nEnsuring item, product, and vendor data is accurate and consistent across our ERP, WMS, and 3PL systems.\nEstablishing clear standards and processes for creating and maintaining master data.\nImproving the accuracy and timeliness of shipping, receiving, fulfillment, and inventory processes.\nCleaning up duplicate, incomplete, or mismatched records and putting recurring checks in place to maintain data quality.\nPreparing master data for the company’s ERP transition, including validated item, BOM, and assembly structures.\nEstablishing clear visibility into 3PL performance, transportation costs, and operational discrepancies.\nRequirements\n2-4 years of experience in logistics, fulfillment, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain operations.\n1-2 years of hands-on experience managing master data within an ERP, WMS, or similar system.\nExperience managing SKUs, product/item data, and inventory-related information with a high degree of accuracy.\nStrong understanding of how accurate data impacts inventory, fulfillment, costing, and reporting.\nStrong Excel and Google Sheets skills, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation, and working with large datasets.\nExperience working with 3PLs, warehouses, carriers, or freight partners.\nStrong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nAbility to travel domestically to 3PL locations as needed.\nNice-to-Have\nExperience in a DTC, e-commerce, or consumer products environment.\nExperience managing UPCs/GTINs, bills of materials (BOMs), kits, and assembly structures.\nFamiliarity with data governance, including naming conventions, required fields, change management, and data cleanup.\nExperience with ERP and WMS platforms;
