Come join us.\nResponsibilities\nWhat will you do?As a Frontend Developer, you’ll join a new product team and help create a new product area from the ground up.\nYou’ll work closely with Product, Design, Backend, and other Engineering teams to shape solutions and turn ideas into high-quality user experiences. You’ll have meaningful ownership over both what we create and how we create it, while working in a modern development environment where AI and agentic development are part of the day-to-day engineering workflow.\nYou will:\nLead and own features end-to-end, from requirements and technical design through implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and production.\nWork closely with Product to understand requirements, challenge assumptions, identify gaps and edge cases, and help shape solutions before implementation.\nTake responsibility for the agreed requirements and ensure the delivered solution meets product and technical expectations.\nDrive technical decisions for your features, identify risks and dependencies, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to move them forward.\nWork independently and proactively, taking responsibility for outcomes rather than only implementation.\nCollaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend developers to deliver complete end-to-end product experiences.\nWork closely with Backend developers to design and integrate APIs, align on data models and contracts, and solve integration challenges together.\nIntegrate and embed external frontend SDKs, UI libraries, and third-party packages into our product, adapting them to provide a seamless and consistent user experience.\nCreate reusable, maintainable frontend components and contribute to shared frontend foundations and our design system.\nWrite clean, well-tested TypeScript and continuously improve code quality and maintainability.\nUse AI coding agents and modern agentic development workflows as an integral part of your day-to-day development process.\nGuide, review, and validate agent-generated code, maintaining ownership and understanding of the code you deliver.\nContinuously improve your AI and agentic development skills, and actively improve the context, instructions, and workflows that help AI agents work effectively within the codebase and team.\nExplore new ways to use AI and automation to improve development speed, quality, testing, debugging, and engineering workflows.\nParticipate in technical design and contribute to frontend architecture decisions.\nContribute to engineering standards, best practices, and continuous improvement within the team.\nRequirements\n4+ years of professional frontend development experience.\nStrong experience with a modern frontend framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.\nStrong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS/SCSS.\nExperience developing and maintaining production-grade web applications.\nProven ability to independently lead and own features end-to-end, including technical decisions, cross-functional collaboration, and delivery.\nAbility to understand product requirements, ask the right questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and translate agreed requirements into working software.\nGood understanding of frontend architecture, component design, state management, and API integration.\nExperience integrating third-party frontend SDKs, libraries, or UI packages into production applications.\nExperience collaborating closely with Backend developers and integrating frontend applications with backend services and APIs.\nExperience with frontend testing using tools such as Jest, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.\nUnderstanding of software design principles, maintainability, performance, and scalability.\nHands-on experience using AI coding tools or agents as part of the software development lifecycle.\nA continuous-learning mindset around AI-assisted development, with the ability and motivation to improve how you work with coding agents and how you provide them with effective context.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently drive development tasks.\nProduct mindset and attention to user experience, not just implementation.\nProactive team player who enjoys learning, experimenting, and improving how software is created.\nNice to HaveExperience with Angular and NgRx.\nExperience developing products or major features from an early stage.\nExperience working with embedded or externally provided UI experiences.\nExperience with design systems and shared component libraries.\nExperience with agentic development workflows, including coding agents, MCPs, skills, rules, or automated development workflows.\nExperience using AI to automate testing, code review, debugging, or other parts of the engineering lifecycle.\nBenefits\nHiBob is a village filled with amazing people and we’re especially proud of that.
