With a\ngrowing portfolio of major projects across NSW, this role offers both immediate\nimpact and outstanding long-term career prospects.\nWHAT HICKORY CAN\nOFFER\nWork-Life Balance: We target a 5-day work week to support a balanced and sustainable schedule.\nNovated Leases: Take advantage of novated leasing options to maximize your salary and enjoy tax savings on vehicle expenses. \nFamily-Friendly Policies: Receive paid parental leave to support your family needs. \nEmployee Wellbeing: Access our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for valuable support and resources. \nH-Perks Employee Rewards: Access exclusive discounts, cashback and everyday savings through our internal benefits platform. \nExpert In-House Team: Collaborate with our dedicated structures and facades team. \nRESPONSIBILITIES\nProject Planning and Scheduling: Plan and schedule works, ensuring coordination between various tasks and timelines within the project.\nSubcontractor Coordination and Communication: Facilitate communication and alignment with subcontractors, ensuring the clear exchange of project specifications and prompt responses to Requests for Information (RFIs)\nClient and Stakeholder Liaison: Engage and coordinate with clients, superintendents, consultants and various stakeholders to ensure project progress, address concerns and relay essential project updates.\nAdherence to Project Specifications and Drawings: Ensure on-site activities align with project specifications and drawings, maintaining adherence to contractual requirements and quality standards.\nSubcontractor Coordination and Progress Reporting: Manage and coordinate subcontractor and trade contractor activities, ensuring they align with project goals and oversee the accurate placement of construction components.\nHealth, Safety and Environment (HSE) Compliance Oversight: Oversee compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards, conducting toolbox talks and managing on-site safety practices to ensure a safe work environment.\nIndustrial Relations Management: Manage all Industrial Relations matters, staying updated on legislation and promptly communicating issues to relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence to labour laws.\nQuality: Maintain project quality levels, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and Hickory's quality expectations.\nSite Administration Oversight: Supervise and manage all site administration activities, ensuring the accuracy, organisation and up-to-date maintenance of project documentation.\nCoordination and Documentation Processing: Facilitate efficient coordination among site staff, ensuring the prompt and accurate processing of necessary paperwork.\nResource Optimisation: Efficiently manage on-site resources, ensuring their effective utilisation and alignment with project timelines.\nSite Logistics Optimisation: Optimise site logistics for the efficient movement of materials, personnel and equipment in order to minimise congestion, streamline workflows and enhance overall site organization.\nRegulatory Compliance Audits: Conduct regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance with building regulations, safety standards and environmental requirements and address any identified non-compliance issues promptly and efficiently.\nBudget Management: Exercise financial oversight by managing and controlling the project budget by monitoring expenditures, track costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality and safety.\nTO BE SUCCESSFUL\nIN THE ROLE\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in a Site Manager role in the commercial & residential construction industry. \nProven track record in managing large-scale construction projects within the Sydney CBD or the fringe of the CBD with a focus on safety, quality and on-time delivery.\nProven ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, regulatory authorities and local communities.\nExtensive experience in HSE compliance, risk management and industrial relations within construction.\nHands-on experience in managing construction projects in complex environments, such as urban areas, occupied spaces, or projects with intricate architectural designs.\nIf this sounds\nlike your next opportunity, we would love to hear from you as soon as possible!\nSubmit your CV today.
