As an intern you will gain hands-on experience with our custom hardware and software products. You can expect to grow meaningful technical experience while helping us accelerate our product development, production, and deployment of our state-of-the-art sensor network.\nLocation:\nLearn, innovate, and grow alongside the team! This internship is onsite in Syracuse, NY, offering hands-on R&D experience and opportunities to collaborate closely with experienced engineers.\nAs a Computer/Electrical Engineering Intern, you will…\nEvaluate next generation hardware, analyze results and make recommendations to the design team. \nCollaborate across engineering disciplines to develop and test advanced sensor products. \nWork in a motivated, cross-disciplinary team passionate about solving challenging problems and delivering results. \nReceive mentorship, guidance, and constructive feedback from experienced engineers.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport the design team by performing design verification testing of our next generation prototype hardware. \nMake enhancements to software used to characterize and calibrate custom hardware components and complex sensor systems. \nWork in a lab environment using digital scopes, signal generators, network analyzers, and temperature chambers. \nInterface with lab equipment to automate testing. \nPerform analysis of data collection results and make recommendations to the design team. \nSupport next generation sensor integration, test, and design verification activities including field test events centered around evaluation of drone target detection and tracking performance. \nRequired Qualifications:\nEnrolled in an accredited degree program majoring in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.\nCompleted Sophomore year or greater by Summer 2027.\nA minimum grade point average of 3.4. Recent transcript is required with application (unofficial transcripts are acceptable)\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and overcome technical challenges through teamwork and collaboration.\nStrong desire to learn and great communication skills.\nSome experience working in one or more of the following languages: Python, MATLAB, C, C++, or VHDL.\nHourly Rate Range: The hourly rate range for this position is estimated at $23 to $26 per hour.
