We design, manufacture, and deploy advanced sensor systems that deliver real-time insights for defense and commercial applications.\nPosition Overview:\nAs we expand, we're looking for an FP&A Manager to lead the Company's financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis activities. This highly visible role will report to the Corporate Controller, and partner with financial and functional leaders across the organization to provide financial insight that supports strategic and operational decision-making.\nThe FP&A Manager will own the Company's annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes, develop and maintain financial models, analyze business performance, and translate financial and operational data into actionable insights for leadership. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across both financial and operational data and developing scalable planning and reporting processes as the Company grows. This is a hands-on role with significant opportunity to shape and mature the Company's FP&A function.\nLocation: Syracuse, NY - This position is onsite and requires regular travel between Hidden Level locations in the Syracuse area.\nResponsibilities:\nLead financial planning and forecasting, including the annual budget, rolling forecasts, revenue, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.\nDeliver financial reporting and performance analysis, including budget-to-actual variance analysis, KPIs, management reporting, and identification of key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.\nOwn financial modeling and strategic analysis, including scenario planning, profitability analysis, unit economics, pricing, capital investment, and network expansion.\nSupport executive and Board decision-making through clear financial insights, forecasts, presentations, and ad hoc analysis for the CFO, Corporate Controller, and leadership team.\nImprove FP&A systems, data, and processes, leveraging Deltek Costpoint and other tools to automate reporting, strengthen financial models, integrate operational and financial data, and scale the FP&A function.\nServe as a strategic finance partner to functional leaders, supporting resource allocation, investment evaluations and other operational and strategic decisions.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nStrong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights.\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively partner with functional leaders and communicate financial concepts to both financial and non-financial audiences.\nSound business judgment with the ability to identify key performance drivers, challenge assumptions, evaluate alternatives, and develop well-supported recommendations.\nAbility to independently manage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and ad hoc analysis while balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.\nDetail-oriented with a high degree of ownership and accountability, while maintaining the ability to understand the broader business and focus on the issues that matter most.\nProcess-improvement mindset with the ability to develop scalable financial models, reporting processes, and tools as the organization continues to grow.\nComfortable operating in an environment with ambiguity and change, with the initiative to identify problems, develop solutions, and drive work forward with limited direction.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.\n7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, or a related field.\nDemonstrated experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.\nStrong understanding of the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.\nAbility to analyze large amounts of financial and operational data and communicate key conclusions clearly.\nAbility to travel 10%\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in manufacturing, aerospace/defense, or government contracting environments.\nExperience with recurring revenue or Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) business models.\nExperience with Deltek Costpoint.\nExperience with financial planning or business intelligence platforms.\nDemonstrated experience developing executive and Board-level financial reporting.\nMBA, CMA, or other relevant professional qualifications.\nCompensation and Benefits: Hidden Level offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid parental leave, flexible time off, 401(k) with employer contributions, life insurance, disability insurance, and potential stock options.\nSalary Range: The salary range for this position is estimated at $126,000 to $160,000 annually.
