Develop software that integrates cameras, radars, and distributed sensors with the services and applications that use their data.\nTurn data into insight. Build backend services, analytics, and application features that help users understand sensor data.\nBuild and operate in the cloud. Develop and maintain applications using containerization technologies targeting deployment in AWS and other cloud services.\nSAFETY THROUGH SENSINGImprove products people depend on. Expand our enterprise tools and customer-facing products, supporting secure communication and reliable data synchronization.\nOwn features from idea to deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, evaluate tradeoffs, and deliver working solutions.\nBuild quality into your work. You take initiative, communicate clearly, and enjoy solving problems that cross software and hardware boundaries.\nYou bring:\nA self-motivated, goal-oriented approach and a desire to take ownership of your work.\nStrong problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.\nClear verbal and written communication.\nA track record of delivering high-quality software and following through on commitments.\nRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a strong software architecture background.\nAt least three years of related professional experience.\nStrong programming skills in our stack and experience with or a willingness to learn new languages.\nExperience developing and working in Linux environments.\nFamiliarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.\nSolid understanding of SQL databases, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, and database design principles.\nFamiliarity with asynchronous messaging technologies and secure protocols such as SSH, HTTP, and TLS.\nExperience with or an interest in learning about distributed sensor networks.\nAbility to travel approximately 10% of the time.\nPreferred QualificationsOur stack includes Python, Flask, a myriad of AWS products, SQL databases, Dart, and JavaScript, with opportunities to work in C++ and Linux-based sensor environments.\nExperience using AI coding assistants and agentic AI workflows to support software design, development, testing, debugging, or documentation.\nAbility to guide AI agents through complex tasks, provide useful context and constraints, and evaluate their output through code review and testing.\nInterest in helping shape practical AI development practices that improve productivity while maintaining software quality, security, and engineering accountability.\nCompensation and Benefits: Hidden Level offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, paid parental leave, flexible time off, a 401(k) with employer contributions, life insurance, disability insurance, and potential stock options.Salary range: $xx-$xx annually.
