We design, manufacture, and deploy advanced sensor systems that deliver real-time insights for defense and commercial applications.\nPosition Overview:\nAs we expand, we’re looking for an HR & Talent Specialist, Operations to provide HR and recruiting support to our Operations organization. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, Operations, this role will independently manage routine employee relations matters, lead full-cycle recruitment for assigned Operations positions, and support employee engagement, retention, and workplace safety initiatives. This position will work closely with employees, hiring managers, and HR partners to address workforce needs and deliver a positive employee and candidate experience.\nLocation:\nThis position is onsite and requires regular travel between Hidden Level locations in the Syracuse area.\nResponsibilities:\nServe as a key HR resource for Operations employees and leaders regarding attendance, conduct, workplace concerns, and employment practices. \nIndependently manage routine employee relations matters, interpret and consistently apply HR policies, and recommend appropriate actions. \nConduct assigned workplace investigations and support performance and corrective-action processes by gathering information, documenting findings, and recommending resolutions. \nPartner with the HR Business Partner, Operations to implement HR initiatives and escalate complex, sensitive, or high-risk employee matters. \nAnalyze workforce and recruiting data, employee concerns, and exit interview feedback to identify trends and recommend improvements to hiring, engagement, and retention. \nManage full-cycle recruitment for assigned Operations positions, including developing recruiting strategies, posting jobs, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting offers. \nPartner with hiring managers to define position requirements, establish priorities, evaluate candidates, and determine who advances through the interview process. \nProvide a positive and consistent candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance and onboarding. \nPartner with Operations and EHS leadership to promote employee well-being and workplace safety, including participating in the Safety Committee and supporting safety communications, return-to-work matters, and accommodation processes. \nMaintain accurate employee and recruiting documentation and use HR systems and reporting tools to track and analyze workforce information. \nCollaborate with the HR team to implement company-wide programs, improve HR and recruiting processes, and support organizational initiatives. \nMaintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and candidate information with discretion. \nAssist with additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nStrong communication, relationship-building, recruiting, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills. \nSound judgment and the ability to evaluate information, consistently apply HR policies, develop recommendations, and recognize when escalation is appropriate. \nAbility to independently balance recruiting, employee relations, and broader HR priorities in a fast-paced environment. \nAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.\nTwo or more years of human resources or talent acquisition experience, preferably supporting manufacturing, healthcare, production, operations, or another frontline workforce. \nExperience independently handling employee relations matters, interpreting HR policies, conducting workplace investigations, and developing recommendations for leadership. \nExperience recruiting for manufacturing, production, supply chain, logistics, quality, healthcare, or other operational roles. \nWorking knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.\nExperience using applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, and reporting tools. \nAbility to travel approximately 10%.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience supporting aerospace, defense, technology manufacturing, or another highly regulated industry. \nExperience participating in safety committees or partnering with EHS teams to support workplace safety initiatives. \nExperience recruiting in a fast-paced or high-growth environment. \nCompensation and Benefits: Hidden Level offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid parental leave, flexible time off, 401(k) with employer contributions, life insurance, disability insurance, and potential stock options.\nSalary Range: The salary range for this position is estimated at $70,000 to $85,000 annually.
