You’ll own features from initial idea through release, make technical decisions, and work closely with product, design, and backend teams. We value autonomy, high agency, and high energy: engineers who take initiative, solve problems, and keep work moving.\nWhat you’ll do\n- Own complex Android features end to end, including technical design, implementation, testing, release, and iteration.\n-Build polished interfaces with Jetpack Compose and the Android View system.\n-Design and evolve the network layer, including API integration, authentication, error handling, retries, and caching.\n-QA your own work: validate user flows, visual details, and edge cases across supported devices, screen sizes, and Android versions, and resolve issues before shipping.\n-Improve app performance, reliability, and maintainability, with attention to startup time, responsiveness, memory usage, and battery consumption.\n-Contribute to product decisions and work with designers to refine user flows and interactions.\n-Raise engineering quality through code reviews, technical guidance, and improvements to development practices.\nCore requirements\n- Strong native Android development experience, with a track record of shipping and maintaining production applications.\n-Deep proficiency in Kotlin, with strong experience in Jetpack Compose and the Android View system, including interoperability.\n-Strong understanding of Android lifecycle behavior, state management, and asynchronous programming with Kotlin coroutines and Flow.\n-Strong networking fundamentals and experience building reliable, maintainable network layers.\n-An AI-native engineering workflow: use AI coding assistants and agents to accelerate exploration, implementation, testing, and debugging;
