Compliance\nFollow all safety policies, procedures, and site requirements\nActively participate in safety programs and initiatives\nIdentify hazards and take appropriate corrective action\nMaintain awareness of applicable safety standards and regulations\nEnsure all work is performed in a safe manner, including lockout/tagout procedures\nEquipment Maintenance\nPerform routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues\nConduct preventive maintenance to support equipment reliability and longevity\nMaintain plastic extrusion machinery, hot stamping equipment, and supporting systems\nWork within established preventive maintenance programs\nRepair or replace defective components as needed\nRepair and maintain small pumps, electric motors, and related systems\nTroubleshooting\nDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate tools and equipment\nPerform electrical troubleshooting on motors, controls, sensors, and wiring systems\nDiagnose failures, complete repairs, and verify proper operation\nTroubleshoot hydraulic presses, including valves, cylinders, and associated controls\nInvestigate recurring issues and support long-term solutions\nIdentify replacement parts, including alternatives for obsolete components\nRepair and Installation\nPerform repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical equipment\nInstall and set up new equipment, ensuring proper alignment and operation\nWork with external vendors when specialized service is required\nSafety and Compliance\nFollow all safety policies and procedures\nIdentify hazards and take appropriate corrective action\nMaintain awareness of applicable safety standards and requirements\nDocumentation\nRecord maintenance, inspection, and repair activities\nProvide input on equipment condition and improvement opportunities\nRequired Skills and Experience\nExperience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance\nStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability\nAbility to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation\nKnowledge of high and low voltage systems\nFamiliarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems\nAbility to work independently and manage time effectively\nBasic computer and communication skills\nPreferred:\nWelding or fabrication experience\nExperience with manual machining or fabrication equipment (mills, lathes, etc.)\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift\nRegular lifting of 30-50 pounds\nWork in varying environmental conditions (temperature, noise, dust, fumes)\nAbility to visually inspect equipment\nEducation and Experience\nHigh school diploma or GED required\nTechnical training preferred\n3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience
