This role enhances throughout, for day-to-day operations, enabling full-time technical staff to focus on higher-priority projects, escalations, and complex troubleshooting.Essential Tasks & Responsibilities:\nMaintain and update IT asset tracking and assignment records\nImage and configure new and redeployed devices using standard procedures\nPrepare equipment for deployment, including accessories, labeling, and readiness verification\nSupport workstation setups and office moves (disconnect, reconnect, testing)\nAssist with vehicle equipment assignment tracking and documentation\nPerform routine ticket follow-up, status updates, and documentation maintenance\nCoordinate with internal stakeholders for scheduling pickups, drop offs, swaps, and deployments\nQualifications:\nBasic understanding of Windows PCs and common peripherals\nStrong organization skills and attention to detail (inventory tracking and documentation)\nAbility to follow standard build and deployment processes consistently\nProfessional communication and customer service skills\nAbility to lift and move standard IT equipment (monitors, desktops, docking stations) as needed\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior IT support or help desk experience\nFamiliarity with imaging processes and basic troubleshooting\nExperience with inventory systems or asset management practices\nThe work location of this job will be 1730 Westchester Dr High Point, North Carolina.Our Commitments\nThe City of High Point is dedicated to fostering a work environment that values individuals from all backgrounds and seeksto attract and retainthe most qualified partners in service to the citizens of High Point.
