Love what you do as part of a diverse organization committed to collaboration and continuous learning. \nThe Team - Accounting Advisory - Valuation Sub-Group\nOur team is comprised of a powerful mix of seasoned professionals with finance, public accounting, and consulting experience with deep expertise in a broad range of industries. We take a comprehensive approach to helping clients with their valuation needs as they navigate through the IPO process, and M&A lifecycle. We provide support with various financial reporting requirements including purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment, and stock-based compensation.\nYour Impact\nAssist fast-growing companies and well-known enterprises (both publicly traded and privately held) with a wide variety of valuation projects to assist with mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax planning and compliance, bankruptcy and reorganization, and strategic planning. \nEngage with clients and colleagues on valuations for business combinations, intangibles valuations, goodwill and asset impairment testing, private equity portfolio company reporting, and complex derivatives and debt instruments.\nApply standard valuation methodologies including discounted cash flow, guideline publicly traded company and guideline transaction method.\nReview team progress to ensure compliance with valuation best practices and professional standards.\nEducate internal and external audiences on valuation conclusions.\nEstablish credibility as a trusted advisor.\nManage client relationships with an eye toward identifying and closing on new business opportunities.\nActively participate in career development activities and technical training of staff.\nYour Experience\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n5+ years of recent professional services experience including experience performing business valuations.\nCFA, CPA, ASA (or progress towards achieving these certifications).\nDemonstrated knowledge of financial theory and general accounting issues.\nProficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.\nFlexibility to travel up to 10%. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExcellent financial modeling and writing skills.\nExperience with ASC805 and ASC350\nProven ability to deliver services and solutions that surpass client expectations.\nAbility to work on multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and handle dynamic, time sensitive engagements in a team setting.\nStrong work ethic and ability to work flexible hours around critical due dates.\nDetermining compensation for this role (and others) at Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
