If you are motivated by these principles, we encourage you to join our team!\nHTH seeks College Pathways Coordinator to provide instructional support for students at our schools. This position is in-person, on campus.\nJob Summary\nThe College Pathways Coordinator serves as a liaison between HTH and post-secondary institutions, supporting students through the enrollment process, advising on course offerings, and communicating with all stakeholders. The College Pathways Coordinator will develop student orientation and support processes and maintain data tracking systems for enrollment students.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nThe duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to this class.\nThe College Pathways Coordinator is a member of an HTH College and Career Access Team (CCAT). While the primary responsibility is to serve in the capacity of the College Pathways Coordinator, as a CCAT member there will be other duties that are aligned with CCAT’s broader mission of college and career access and readiness.\nServe as a liaison with post-secondary institutions to ensure alignment of concurrent enrollment programs and policies.\nSupport students in the concurrent enrollment process, including managing applications, registration, and course scheduling.\nDevelop and implement orientation and support processes to ensure the success of concurrent enrollment students.\nCommunicate regularly with concurrent enrollment students, parents, high school and college faculty, and other stakeholders to provide updates on program policies and procedures.\nMaintain accurate data tracking systems for concurrent enrollment students, including enrollment data, academic progress, and completion rates.\nParticipate in program evaluation and assessment to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for program growth.\nFacilitate access to college resources and opportunities geared toward assisting underrepresented populations\nOffer guidance to students throughout the financial aid process\nSupport junior/senior level college counseling teachers with lesson planning and execution\nProvide college counseling coaching support to the junior/senior counselors as they prepare students for college access and success in higher education\nParticipate in bi-weekly meetings as a member of the College & Career Access Team which utilizes PDSA cycles to track and identify students who require additional support\nAssist in the organization of family engagement workshops related to college access goals\nSupport in the maintenance of student data progress and share regularly with the Director of College Advising\nAssist Director of College Advising in planning and coordinating parent nights, college visits, guest speakers, career exploration trips, and other college and career access programming\nBecome familiar with the various technology platforms that support the college & career access work: Scoir, Powerschool, and the primary on-line applications-UC, CSU, and Community College applications.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE\nTo qualify for this position, an individual must possess any combination of experience and education that would ensure being able to meet and fulfill job requirements.\nBachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field.\nKnowledge of higher education policies, procedures, and practices.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.\nExperience with data tracking and analysis to inform program improvement.\nFamiliarity with student success strategies and support services for underrepresented students.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team to achieve program goals.\nThe ideal candidate would possess the following competencies:\nBuilding relationships\nCommunication, both written and oral\nAbility to evaluate alternatives\nInterpersonal skills\nAbility to listen and motivate\nTeamwork\nCreate plans and goal set\nWork Environment\nSchool setting\nHigh Tech High provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
