You’ll define how AI shows up in financial workflows, ship core agentic workflows (automated AP, treasury optimization, anomaly detection), and drive weekly product velocity from spec to launch. The bar is a meaningful product shipped fast, with adoption and monetization to match.\nThis role is based in our NoHo, NYC office.\nWhat you’ll do\nOwn the Intelligence product surface across banking, bill pay, cards, and treasury\n\nDefine how AI shows up in financial workflows (automation vs control, trust, explainability)\n\nShip core agentic workflows (e.g., automated AP, treasury optimization, anomaly detection)\n\nDrive weekly product velocity: specs → build → QA → launch\n\nRun continuous customer insight loops and translate them into product decisions\n\nOwn 0→1 product definition in ambiguous areas\n\nDrive adoption and monetization, not just launches: ensure workflows are actually used\n\nImprove speed of iteration across product (faster cycles, tighter feedback loops)\n\nContribute to product narrative + positioning\n\nNet impact\nHighbeam becomes known for AI-native financial workflows, not just banking\n\nFaster shipping of meaningful product (not incremental features)\n\nMeasurable lift in product adoption (bill pay, cards, treasury)\n\nQualifications\n4-6 years PM experience; early-stage operator (PM #1-5 at Series A-C)\n\nComfortable with AI tools for iteration and product validation\n\nHas built AI/LLM products as the core experience\n\nStrong product builder: writes specs, QA’s builds, ships end-to-end\n\nHigh velocity, comfortable shipping weekly in ambiguous environments\n\nDeep customer development instincts (regular user conversations, synthesis)\n\nStrong product taste, especially in workflow + UX simplicity\n\nBackground in fintech or AI or vertical SaaS\n\nBonus: engineering background\n\nYou'll thrive at Highbeam if...\nYou love working in-person with a high-performing team\n\nYou enjoy working in an idea-meritocratic, low-ego environment\n\nYou are proactive and self-directed, and you excel in ambiguous, fast moving environments\n\nYou care about delivering a polished customer experience\n\nBonus: You have experience working in fintech, AI or early-stage startups\n\nWhat we offer\nCompetitive salary and meaningful equity\n\nComprehensive health & benefits package\n\nGenerous PTO\n\n$1K/year stipend to purchase our customers' products\n\n$100/mo wellness stipend\n\nYearly offsite-last year we went to Mexico City!\n\nIn-office perks: Commute covered and $20/day lunch stipend\n\nGreat location: Our NYC office is in NoHo, a short walk from the A,C,E · B,D,F,M · N,Q,R,W · 1 · 6 trains.
