Powered by Unreal Engine 5, this project aims to deliver exceptional gaming experiences for players, particularly in China. As a Level Artist you will ensure the artistic vision aligns with cultural authenticity, technical efficiency, and gameplay excellence, crafting immersive environments that resonate with players worldwide. \nKey Responsibilities:\nWork with the Art Lead and Art Director to establish Environment Theming & Tone, References for sections of the world.\nWork closely with Level Designers to iterate on and bring a level of believability and detail to the world while retaining the gameplay intentions.\nWork with the Technical Art team to explore and test different methods for creating and laying out the world, including procedural layout tools and workflows.\nWork with the tech art and engineering teams to help establish performance and memory budgets to set achievable targets for world density.\nQualifications:\n5+ Years Experience on Video Game Environment and Asset production\nExperience shipping environment content in an intermediate to senior role on 2-3 shipped console/PC titles.\nStrong knowledge of visual design.\nExcellent sense of visual composition, form color in realistic style.\nExperience with many different methods for creating a game world including modular systems and usage of procedural tools.\nExcellent knowledge of how to manage content for games in an optimized and performant manner.\nGood knowledge of Unreal Engine for LA role.\nExcellent 3D modelling and texturing skills\nHighly proficient with 3D Studio Max and / or Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop.\nExperience on working with outsourcing team (assign task, review and give feedback) will be a good plus.\nWhy could we be the perfect place for you: \nWe offer the unique experience of being part of the foundation of a new international game team right in the heart of Montreal, which benefits from the rich diversity of its members and the cultural exchange with our partners in Hangzhou.\nWe also offer:\nInsurance coverage and telemedicine from day one,\nTransportation and meal allowance,\nReferral bonus,\nRRSP with employer contribution.\nJob Range: 95,000 - 143,000\nJustification des exigences linguistiques\nNetEase s'engage à favoriser un environnement de travail francophone pour ses employés au Québec.
