Through a series of further renovations and expansions as adjacent properties became available, The Joule has become a cultural, shopping, and dining destination-a forerunner in the renaissance of downtown Dallas.\nOverview\nThe Banquet Server is responsible for the smooth, efficient, service of all banquets and meeting functions. They will serve food and beverages to guests at all banquet functions, according to the hotel standards and provide exceptional service throughout the event to meet and exceed guest expectations.\nResponsibilities\nPerform preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently. \nRead and understand Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and be familiar with the menu of the assigned function (food, beverage, allergens, dietary restrictions, etc.). \nEnsure menu knowledge for each function served and be able to give accurate descriptions. \nEnsure accurate knowledge of Event details, main event contact, and VIPs. \nServed guests according to the hotel’s standards in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. \nRespond to guest problems, complaints, and accidents.
