They must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, have excellent facial massage and skin extraction techniques, possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in our spa’s specific facial treatment offerings. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness and beauty solutions to meet the needs of our guests. They must hold and maintain a current state license.\nResponsibilities\nBe on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.\nProvide consistent professional facial and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.\nBe flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa.\nProperly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.\nHave complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas.\nActively promote home care programs, meeting minimum retail sales goals.\nUphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.\nPerform prep work and properly clean and restock room as required.\nCommunicate to management all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.\nActively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.\nHandle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.\nProvide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.\nCommunicate to management all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.\nPossess ability to work without direct supervision.\nMaintain a cheerful outlook and contribute toward a quality work environment.\nRegularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.\nAssist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.\nQualifications\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nMust be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner.\nMust be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.\nMust be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.\nApproach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.\nAttend all hotel required meetings and trainings.\nMaintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.\nMaintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.\nComply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.\nMaximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.\nMust be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.\nMust be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.\nMust be able to cross-train in other hotel related areas.\nMust be able to maintain confidentiality of information.\nMust be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.\nPerform other duties as requested by management.\nAlways maintain a friendly and warm demeanor.\nHygiene is key in this environment due to the proximity of working with the clients.
