Highgate maintains corporate offices in London, New York, Dallas, and Seattle.\nLocation\nOverview\nThe Concierge is responsible for creating a welcoming first impression and for providing current information about the local area, attractions and events. He/she is also responsible for greeting guests, assisting with questions, and providing recommendations and directions for restaurants, attractions and events in the area.\nResponsibilities\nProvide information and assist guests concerning: restaurants, theater/musical productions, airlines, automobile rental, transportation directions, office services, beauty/barber establishments, and other appropriate services, and render reservations for such.\nMaintain current listing of local and area attractions, special events and activities.\nMaintain a listing of local transportation guides, churches, sports arenas, etc.\nProvide hours of operations for all restaurants, lounges and shops within the hotel.\nProvide information, maps and directions as required.\nMaintain lobby reader board.\nMaintain all property brochure racks, order and restock when necessary.\nKnowledge of all emergency procedures and the ability to assist and/or respond accordingly.\nProvide personalized phone calls to VIP’s and other designated guests welcoming them to the hotel.\nCommunicate all daily functions and their location in the hotel in order to assist and direct guests.\nAssist the front desk when needed.\nAssist guests with retrieval of packages.\nProvide gift certificates for purchase.\nShow guestrooms and suites as needed.\nOversee cleanliness of lobby and entrance areas.\nQualifications\n2 years of Concierge experience in a luxury hotel preferred\n2-year college degree or related experience\nLes Clef D'Or membership preferred\nMust be proficient in Windows, Company approved spreadsheets and word processing Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.\nMust have extensive knowledge of the area and be able to give directions clearly.\nFlexible and long hours sometimes required.\nLight work -
