As we continue to grow, we're investing in our people and processes to ensure we're well positioned for the future.\nWe're now looking for an experienced Demand Manager to join our Supply Chain team at our Ochils site in Blackford.\nReporting to our Group Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping how we plan and forecast customer demand across the business.\nWorking closely with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain, you'll be responsible for ensuring we have an accurate, reliable view of future demand, helping us make informed decisions around production, capacity, inventory and customer service.\nWhat you'll be doing\nTaking ownership of our demand planning and forecasting process across customers, products and sales channels.\nWorking closely with our commercial teams to understand customer requirements, promotional activity, market trends and future growth plans.\nLeading the demand review as part of our monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, bringing together insight from across the business to agree a clear demand forecast.\nMonitoring forecast accuracy and identifying opportunities to improve the quality and reliability of our planning.\nProviding insight into demand trends, potential risks and opportunities, ensuring these are understood and reflected in wider supply chain decisions.\nSupporting new product launches, changes in customer demand and longer-term business planning through analysis and scenario modelling.\nReviewing and improving our planning systems, reporting and ways of working to support a more effective and consistent approach to demand planning.\nWhat we're looking for\nYou'll have experience in demand planning or forecasting, ideally within FMCG or a manufacturing environment, and understand the importance of getting demand planning right in a fast-moving business.\nWe're particularly interested in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate:\nExperience developing and managing demand forecasts, with a good understanding of S&OP processes.\nStrong analytical skills and the ability to work confidently with complex data to identify trends and provide meaningful insight.\nKnowledge of statistical forecasting techniques, forecast accuracy and bias.\nExperience using demand planning systems and reporting tools.\nA good understanding of the commercial factors that influence customer demand, including promotions, product launches and market activity.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence decisions across the business.\nYou'll be organised, commercially aware and comfortable taking ownership of your work.
