Building Catalogs, subscriptions, fulfillment , payment processing engines, inventory mgmt, pricing, documents/contracts and more to enable our SMBs to increase their revenue will be the core focus of the org. As an SDE II, you'll design core models — subscriptions, payments, reconciliation, and tax — plus the services around them. You'll define event contracts, data policies, and consistency guarantees to ensure every transaction is correct by design, traceable, and delightful at scale.Responsibilities:\nDesign and ship multi-tenant services: checkout, subscriptions, payments orchestration, invoicing, tax hooks\n\nIntegrate PSPs and local methods (UPI, wallets, BNPL, cards/3DS) with resilient webhooks and idempotent APIs\n\nImplement an append-only double-entry ledger; apply event sourcing/CQRS where it improves scale and correctness\n\nWrite production-grade code with deep test coverage and OpenTelemetry instrumentation\n\nOperate on GKE with CI/CD, autoscaling, SLIs/SLOs, and on-call ownership\n\nCollaborate with PM/Design and mentor junior engineers\n\nRequirements:\n2+ years in software development\n\nExperience with Postgres, Valkey, and event-driven systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub)\n\nStrong distributed systems fundamentals: idempotency, retries, ordering, concurrency, and consistency\n\nStrong multi-tenant systems fundamentals: tenant isolation, per-tenant data and quota boundaries, noisy neighbour containment\n\nHands-on experience with Kubernetes and GCP; familiarity with secrets/KMS and PCI basics\n\nDeep testing discipline: unit, integration, contract, and performance testing\n\nSchema design for scale and backward compatibility\n\nExcellent debugging and problem-solving skills\n\nTech Stack:\nBackend: Go, ConnectRPC, Buf\nDatabases: Postgres (Primary), AlloyDB, ClickHouse\nCloud: GCP (GKE), Pub/Sub, Valkey, OpenTelemetry\nEEO Statement:\nThe company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
