deliver quality food on time.\nUltimately, you will ensure all plates are properly cooked and served and our customers have a pleasant dining experience.\nResponsibilities\n-Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food orders\n-Supervise food prep and cooking\n-Check food plating and temperature\n-Establish portion sizes\n-Schedule kitchen staff shifts\n-Price menu items in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager\n-Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed\n-Train kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques\n-Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)\n-Keep weekly and monthly cost reports\n-Weekly inventory\n-Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area\n-Track and oversee kitchen repair and maintenance\n-Oversee catering orders\nRequirements and skills\n-Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager, Restaurant Manager or Head Chef\n-Hands-on experience with planning menus and ordering ingredients\n-Enthusiasm to learn the computer software that we use to run the restaurant\n-Knowledge of a wide range of recipes\n-Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations\n-Excellent organizational skills\n-Conflict management abilities\n-Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment\n-Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends\n-Certification from a culinary school or degree in Restaurant Management is a plus, but not
