This position will be responsible for contributing to our technical IT ecosystem that includes infrastructure, systems, networks, applications, integrations, etc. They will work closely with other technical IT professionals, analysts, and engineers to build and optimize solutions, ensuring quality, integrity, and performance. The ideal candidate is adaptable, solution-oriented, and capable of collaborating across multiple teams to support a broad range of technical initiatives. The incumbent, and team, may be involved in every aspect as a part of the technical process from idea generation, analysis, design, build, and support using various technologies and design patterns.\nESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES\nResponsible for one or many of the following tasks:Analyzing, designing, testing, implementing, and automating technical IT storage solutions.\nProviding general production monitoring, storage capacity management, and storage ecosystem support.\nAssisting in data backup and recovery management along with both disaster recovery and cyber recovery testing and activities.\nCollaborating on the design and implementation of storage architectures to ensure solution alignment to enterprise goals and standard.\nCollaborating with stakeholders across IT, product, analytics, and business teams to gather requirements and provide technical storage solutions that meet organizational needs.\nMonitoring work efforts against production schedules and providing progress updates, reporting any issues or technical difficulties to leadership on a regular basis.\nMeeting defined scope, target dates and budgets with minimal or no defects.\nDocumenting technical processes and procedures.\nParticipating in technical reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.\nMentoring other associate and intermediate technical engineers as needed.\nPerforming technical analysis and providing insights to support decision-making.\nStaying up-to-date with the latest relevant technologies and industry best practices.\nOther duties as assigned or requested.\n\nEXPERIENCE\nRequired\n5 years of experiences in one or many of the following tasks: analyzing, designing, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions, as well as providing general production support, meeting defined scope, target dates and budgets with minimal or no defects.\n5 years of technical problem solving, solution implementation, team/project collaboration\n5 years of basic computer science concepts and principles, common operating systems, development languages/scripting \n Preferred\n7 years of experience with each of the following:\nManaging technology platforms and infrastructure used by our enterprise. \nWorking with and designing technology solutions in healthcare or equivalent large industries. \nTranslating requirements, design mockups, prototypes, or user stories into viable technical implementations. \nProducing technical solutions that are fault-tolerant, efficient, and maintainable. \nDeveloping and meeting technical governance, quality, and security best practices. \nDefining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility trade-offs that optimize short-term execution while planning for long-term technical capabilities. \nUnderstanding cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS) and their respective storage services. \nSKILLS\nStorage Administration\nNetApp technologies: AFF/FAS controllers, OnTap, SnapMirror, SnapVault, SnapLock, SnapCenter, StorageGrid, ARP, ActiveIQ, etc.\nProtocols: NFS, CIFS/SMB, ISCI, FC SAN \nStrong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy\nStrong track record in designing, implementing, and supporting large-scale technical solutions\nStrong methodical troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities\nStrong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive\nDemonstrated passion for propelling positive business outcomes while keenly considering user impacts\nAbility to work effectively as a team player in cross-functional environments\nComfort with a range of IT tools and technologies, with a willingness to learn new skills and technologies as needed\nAbility to develop automation to improve efficiency and accuracy\nAbility to take on diverse tasks and projects, adapting to the evolving needs of the organization\nDemonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment\nAdditional Preferred Technical Skills:\nCommVault Backup & Recovery\nCisco MDS\nVMWare SRM\nWindows Clustering\nAnsible\nGitLab\nNetApp OnTap Cloud Volumes\nFpolicy\nCertificate Management\nLinux\nFundamental networking understanding\nStorage integrations with ServiceNow, Dynatrace, or other 3rd party tools.\nEDUCATION\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field. \nPreferred\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.\nLanguage (Other than English):\nNone\nTravel Requirement:\n0% -
