Those who succeed at Highmark will do so because they enjoy an empowered, challenging, fulfilling, and financially rewarding workplace!\nWhy we need you:\nThe Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for effectively implementing the make-ready process for new move-in, leasing and coordinating service requests.\nWhat Highmark can do for YOU:\nHelp you achieve your goals by continuous professional development and regular career progression sessions\nCompetitive pay for the market\nMonthly bonus opportunities for all site associates\n30% associate rent discount\nMedical, Dental & Vision benefits the 1st of the month following 30 days of full-time employment\nCompany-provided life insurance, short term and long term disability coverage\nFlexible Spending accounts\n401(k) eligibility after 90 days, with 4% Highmark match\nProfessional Certification & Tuition reimbursement\nVacation, Sick and Personal Time off available to use after 90 days\n10 paid holidays\nPaid parental leave\nResponsibilities\nThis is what you’ll do:\nAct as liaison between Management and Maintenance\nAdheres to Company Key Policy\nMaintains organized Resident Service Request files\nMust assist and attend resident functions\nMaintains working knowledge of Fair Housing laws, rules and regulations\nCoordinate make ready process for both shows and move in apartments\nMonitor quality of make readies\nEnsure that the community sales team has an adequate supply of leaseable units at all time\nUpdate Make Ready Boards daily\nAssist in scheduling outside contractors for make readies\nWork within budgeted guidelines\nCoordinate upgrades in designated units\nIn charge of the receiving, recording, preparation and follow up of resident service request and monitor timely completion\nInput complete work orders into Key Trac\nReports any observed maintenance problems\nMust stay informed of all policies and procedures as outlined in the Operations Manual.\nMust adhere to and comply with company safety policies and rules and utilize safety equipment, as required\nMust always be courteous and helpful to residents, prospective residents, co-workers and vendors\nParticipates in ongoing community improvement plan and preventative maintenance program\nMust be prompt, on time for work and have good, regular attendance\nWorks over-time, weekend, holiday and evening work as required.\nMust have mode of communication in which to be contacted at home and respond in cases of emergency\nWears company uniform with photo ID badge during working hours\nMay be transferred or assigned to work at another Highmark community\nPerforms other duties as assigned by Community Director (or Maintenance Supervisor in Community Director’s absence.)\nQualifications\nWe’re looking for you if:\nYou are interested in the above\nYou have leadership and team-building skills\nYou have experience in apartment maintenance\nYou strive for excellence\nSome things we can’t live without are:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nAbility to read, write and comprehend the English language\nExcellent telephone and communication skills\nCompetent ability with personal computer, typewriter, calculator and fax machine\nExceptional organizational skills\nValid driver’s license\nSome physical requirements are:\nFrequently lifts and carries up to 35 lbs\nHas normal range of vision, hearing and speech\nFrequently walks the property, including climbing several flights of stairs\nCompensation: $24.00 -
