The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in JDE development tools and a solid understanding of business processes in General Accounting (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Cost accounting, and other ERP modules.\n\nResponsibilities : \n\n- Design, develop, test, and deploy configurations, customizations, and enhancements in JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2.\n\n- Expert in JDE 9.2 Finance modules; problems faced are complicated, often complex, and require awareness of the impact on business and ecosystem.\n\n- Collaborate as a trusted advisor with business subject matter experts to gather requirements, analyze, and translate them into technical solutions.\n\n- Lead application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities and correct programming errors, respond to scope changes, and code application enhancements. This includes managing large projects or processes with limited oversight.\n\n- Develop and maintain JDE reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICE components).\n\n- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and service outages and performance bottlenecks.\n\n- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and migrations.\n\n- Analysis of market trends in new application and development tools, sourcing/identification of software/solutions.\n\n- Automating routine tasks using scripting and writing basic computer programs to address more complex systems software configuration and enhancement, including gen AI or RPA solutions.\n\n- Ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.\n\n- Provide technical documentation and end-user training as needed.\n\n- Estimate cost and effort of enhancements/solutions.\n\n- Support strategic planning and roadmap development.\n\n- Coach, review and delegate work to lower-level and 3rd party professionals.\n\nMandatory Requirements : \n\n- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.\n\n- Recognized subject matter expert in Finance with solid understanding of accounting principles, financial close, and audit requirements, typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.\n\n- Combining techno-functional background with the ability to bridge Finance needs and IT.\n\n- 4 -
