We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Tax Manager to join our dynamic and collaborative global tax team. As part of our One Global Team, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the U.S., Jordan, Portugal and the UK. The Vice President of Tax - Group is based in the U.S., and the Senior Tax Manager will report to the Senior Director of U.S. Tax Operations.\nThis position supports a broad range of tax matters, including U.S. and international tax planning, tax accounting under IFRS and U.S. GAAP, and U.S. federal and state/local tax compliance and audits. The Senior Tax Manager will play a key role in managing U.S. tax provision and compliance processes, while also contributing to the development and execution of local, regional, and global tax strategies.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPrepare and review U.S. federal and state income tax returns, including the calculation of tax credits and incentives, analysis of taxable income, and state allocation and apportionment\nManage the preparation and timely filing of extensions and quarterly estimated tax payments for income and franchise taxes\nConduct tax technical research to stay current with evolving tax laws and ensure compliance across all tax reporting functions\nSupport federal and state tax audits by coordinating data collection, preparing workpapers, and conducting analytical reviews to substantiate Hikma’s tax positions\nPrepare and analyze two cycles of the tax provision, interim and annual.\nAssist with inquiries from external auditors during interim and annual financial audits\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Business teams to ensure integrated tax planning and compliance\nAnalyze financial and tax data to identify trends, assess risks, and uncover opportunities to support tax planning and compliance efforts\nConduct thorough tax research on complex tax issues and stay informed about new developments, regulatory updates, and best practices in U.S. tax\nUtilize tax technology tools to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement\nContribute to special projects and strategic tax initiatives as assigned by management\nQualifications:\nWe value the skills and experiences candidates bring to the table. While we have listed some qualifications below, we encourage candidates to apply even if they do not meet all of them:\nBA/BS degree in Accounting; CPA or MST (Mater Science in Taxation) is strongly preferred\n8+ years of tax experience in a multinational corporate environment and/or public accounting preferred\nStrong knowledge and experience with ASC 740, U.S. tax compliance, and advanced tax technical and research skills\nExperience in working with a diverse group of professionals globally; solid communication and people skills\nProficient MS Excel skills, knowledge of OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource Income Tax, and SAP are desirable\nAbility to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks\nDeep desire to perform with the best practice to enhance internal process and to manage tax risks. \nCompensation:\nBase Salary: $140,000 to $160,000 annually. The compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, work location, prior experience and job-related knowledge, relevant skills and expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
