This position serves as the primary support resource for material flow, quality assistance, robotic palletizing operations, and warehouse coordination while also assisting with kitting and assembly activities as needed.\nThe Kitting Operations Lead plays a critical role in maintaining production efficiency, ensuring product quality, supporting continuous workflow, and promoting a safe working environment. This is a hands-on operational position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nMaterial Handling & Logistics\nOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.\nDeliver components, packaging materials, and finished goods to and from kitting workstations.\nStage materials for production to ensure uninterrupted workflow.\nTransport finished pallets to designated warehouse or shipping locations.\nMonitor material inventory levels on the production floor and replenish supplies as needed.\nAssist with inventory organization and material movements throughout the facility.\nKitting Operations\nSupport kitting associates during periods of high production demand.\nAssist with kit assembly, packaging, labeling, and scanning activities.\nEnsure workstations remain organized, fully stocked, and operating efficiently.\nHelp resolve production bottlenecks and maintain workflow throughout the shift.\nQuality Support\nPerform in-process quality checks according to established work instructions.\nVerify components, labels, and completed kits meet quality standards.\nAssist the Quality team with inspections, audits, and containment activities when required.\nIdentify quality concerns and immediately communicate issues to supervisors or Quality personnel.\nRobotic Palletizer Operations\nOperate and monitor robotic palletizing equipment.\nClear minor faults and jams while following established safety procedures.\nVerify pallet patterns and finished pallet quality.\nCoordinate pallet flow to prevent production interruptions.\nEscalate equipment issues requiring maintenance support.\nShipping & Warehouse Support\nWrap, secure, and label finished pallets for shipment or storage.\nEnsure pallets meet shipping and safety requirements.\nMaintain accurate pallet identification and inventory movement.\nSupport shipping activities as needed.\nSafety & Continuous Improvement\nFollow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.\nReport equipment issues, safety concerns, and process improvement opportunities.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nPrevious experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or kitting operations.\nValid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.\nExperience operating material handling equipment.\nBasic understanding of quality inspection processes.\nAbility to operate or learn automated production equipment, including robotic palletizers.\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\nBasic computer skills preferred.\nPhysical Requirements\nFrequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.\nStand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.\nSafely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.\nWork in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.\nPreferred Skills\nForklift operation\nMaterial flow coordination\nWarehouse coordination\nProduction support\nQuality inspection\nInventory control\nLean Manufacturing / 5S\nContinuous Improvement\nRobotic equipment operation\nTeam collaboration\nTime management\nAttention to detail\nSounds like what you are looking for?\nThen we look forward to receiving your online application, via our online career portal.
