This role supports the design, development, testing, and maintenance of computer programs to ensure applications meet user and system requirements.\nYou will work with systems analysts and designers to research and document requirements, analyze objectives, translate solutions into detailed program specifications, and assist with program design and modifications. This position also involves supporting testing, documentation, and reporting to ensure the smooth sustainment of system software applications.\nDuties of an Application Programmer may include, but are not limited to:\nProviding experience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations.\n\nParticipating in the design of software tools and subsystems to support reuse and domain analysis.\n\nAssisting in the management, development, testing, and maintenance of computer programs to ensure user requirements are met.\n\nCollaborating with systems analysts and/or designers to research and document computer user requirements.\n\nAnalyzing objectives and problems identified by analysts and/or designers.\n\nTranslating solutions provided by systems designers into detailed program specifications.\n\nAssisting with the preparation of documentation for other programmers, users, and support staff.\n\nSupporting program design activities, including the definition of data structures and error message arrangements.\n\nAssisting with the modification and documentation of program code to correct errors or enhance application capabilities.\n\nSupporting application testing and preparing reports on the status, operation, and maintenance of system software applications.\n\n Supervised and facilitated team collaboration, guided peer/quality reviews, resolved and escalated conflicts for team success, conducted performance reviews, motivated team members, and ensured overall project quality assurance was adhered, approved timesheets.\nRequired Skills / Experience\nBachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years of relevant experience.\n\nExperience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations.\n\nRelevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.\n\nMust possess an Active Secret Clearance.\n\nDoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level - I (A+ CE, CCNA Security, CND, Network Security, SSCP) OR higher (IAT II or III)\nDLA CE Cert IA Role/Function: MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1. \nRemote Work Environment:\nThis position is performed in a 100% remote, collaborative environment supporting government development activities. The employee will work closely with Task Order Project Manager, Requirements Analysts, Scrum Master, Developers, Testers, and Government stakeholders through virtual meetings and Agile ceremonies. Employees must maintain a secure remote workspace, use government-approved systems and security controls, and comply with all cybersecurity and data protection requirements, including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
