Technical Program Manager

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for owning the successful delivery of large-scale technology programs. You will work closely with engineering, product management, data teams, and customer stakeholders to drive execution from program kickoff to production deployment. You will play a critical role in ensuring that programs are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality, while proactively managing risks, dependencies, and cross-team coordination.

The core responsibilities for the job include the following:

Program Delivery Ownership:

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex technology programs from initiation to production rollout.
• Define program milestones, timelines, and delivery plans.
• Track execution across multiple engineering teams and ensure program goals are met.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

• Drive collaboration across Engineering, Product, Data, and Customer Success teams.
• Align stakeholders on priorities, deliverables, and timelines.
• Facilitate decision-making across cross-functional teams.

Client-Facing Program Leadership:

• Act as the primary delivery contact for enterprise clients.
• Provide regular updates on program status, risks, and milestones.
• Manage client escalations and ensure successful program outcomes.

Risk and Dependency Management:

• Identify risks, technical blockers, and cross-team dependencies early.
• Develop mitigation strategies and escalate critical issues when needed.
• Maintain RAID logs and program health metrics.

Governance and Reporting:

• Establish program governance frameworks and reporting cadence.
• Prepare program dashboards, executive reports, and delivery metrics.
• Track KPIs related to delivery performance and client satisfaction.

Engineering Program Coordination:

• Work closely with engineering leaders to align sprint planning with program milestones.
• Ensure architectural dependencies are tracked and resolved.
• Coordinate release planning and deployment readiness.

Requirements:

• 8 years of experience in technical program management, project management, or engineering program delivery.
• Proven experience managing large-scale engineering programs involving multiple teams.
• Strong experience working with software development teams and product organizations.
• Demonstrated experience managing enterprise client-facing technology programs.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's or master's degree from a Tier 1 institution preferred.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working on data platforms, analytics systems, or cloud-based products.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certification.
• Experience in healthcare technology or regulated industries.
