We’re excited to help you grow with us!\nKey Responsibilities:\nLearn and utilize the agency management system to support employee benefits analysis, reporting, and client deliverables\nDevelop a foundational understanding of the employee benefits industry, including health and welfare plans, compliance requirements, and carrier operations\nSupport benefits analysts, service, and sales teams by shadowing client meetings and internal strategy discussions\nAssist with data analysis, entry, and validation related to employee benefits plans, renewals, and client reporting\nCompile and maintain records, reports, and benefit plan documentation to support client service and compliance efforts\nSupport the PCORI project and other regulatory and compliance-related initiatives within the benefits practice\nResearch and analyze employee benefits data files for group clients, identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities\nGain exposure to the clients we serve and the industries they operate in, with an emphasis on benefits strategy and cost management\nLearn about benefits carriers and vendors, including plan structures, funding arrangements, and reporting requirements\nBuild an understanding of key employee benefits coverages and how they are applied to meet client needs and objectives\nQualifications:\nCurrently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program\nPreferred majors include, Risk Management & Insurance, Acturarial Science, Mathematics, Business Management, or related fields\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nCurious, motivated, and eager to learn about the insurance industry and grow professionally\nThe Hilb Group is an equal opportunity employer, and we actively support and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws prohibiting all forms of discrimination in employment.
