Performs computer lab service desk functions such as answering patron questions - phone, email, and in-person - managing borrowed materials and collecting lab usage statistics. Assists computer lab users with basic Microsoft Office application questions and general technology troubleshooting.\nStrategic Vision and\nProgram Development: Assist with the implementation of lab initiatives, provide input on student needs, and help promote programs and services to their peers.\nCollaboration: Work closely with Learning Innovation staff and lab visitors to ensure effective operations and a positive patron experience.\nDemonstrates a commitment to maintaining a welcoming and safe environment that provides a sense of belonging for all.\nDemonstrated Attributes: Dependability, reliability, strong communication and mentoring skills. Ability to work evenings as required. Enthusiasm for customer service and technology.\nOther Information: This position may require flexible hours, including evenings and event days.\nPhysical Requirements: Light work: exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
