Assists library users in locating material in the collections using the automated catalog. Performs collections maintenance such as shelving and shifting books.\nStrategic Vision and\nProgram Development: Contribute to the growth and enhancement of the libraries by supporting events, fostering student engagement, and assist in continuous improvement of library operations.\nCollaboration: Work closely with library staff, IT and Student Experience staff members, and library visitors to ensure effective operations and a positive patron experience.\n Demonstrates a commitment to maintaining a welcoming and safe environment that provides a sense of belonging for all.\nDemonstrated Attributes: Dependability, reliability, strong communication and mentoring skills. Ability to work evenings as required. Enthusiasm for libraries and technology.\nOther Information: This position may require flexible hours, including evenings and event days.\nPhysical Requirements: Light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
