Job Summary:

You will oversee all aspects of the move process-from the initial order through successful delivery. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience. Your role requires frequent interaction with United Van Lines agents, national account representatives, customers, and internal staff, including operations and sales, to align logistics and services.

You’llbe responsible for receiving and updating move orders from account representatives and prospects through various channels. You’ll work closely with both origin and destination agents, adjusting registrations as neededand confirming all details, such as crew assignments, scope changes, and delivery timelines. Coordinating services like (Estimated Time of Arrivals) ETAs and destination support isa key part of your daily responsibilities. You’llalso prepare required reports and correspondence and make occasional site visits to build and maintainstrong client relationships.

In this role, you're expected to identify potential issues early and take the initiative to resolve them efficiently, keeping customers and internal stakeholders informed every step of the way. After-hours support for your assigned accounts may also be required. You’llmaintainactive files, manage logisticsacross service lines including air cargo and trucking, and stay flexible to support evolving business needs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting jobs, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR to identify best-fit candidates for open roles.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract a diverseand qualified talent pool.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including colleges and professional networks.
  • Manage recruitment administration: update Applicant Tracking System, track workflows, post positions, and prepare onboarding materials.
  • Participate in workforce planning, succession planning, and college/internship recruitment programs.
  • Attend recruiting events, career fairs, and maintain a professional social media presence.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Measure, analyze, and report recruitment metrics to evaluate and improve practices.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Required Experience/Skills:

Education/Work Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years customer service experience

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods, including frequent keyboarding, data entry, and use of multiple software systems.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and listen effectively during frequent phone calls, meetings, interviews, and interactions with customers, candidates, agents, and internal staff.
  • Ability to move around an office and attend off-site locations, including occasional site visits, recruiting events, career fairs, and client meetings.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods when attending career fairs, recruiting events, site visits, or other business activities.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or transport light materials, such as recruiting materials, documents, files, laptops, or event supplies, as needed (e.g., up to approximately 20-25 pounds).
