We combine engineering, fabrication, project management, and field installation to deliver high-quality solutions for some of the industry's most challenging projects.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Project Engineer is an entry to mid-level project management position designed for someone who wants to build a career in the construction industry.\nWorking alongside experienced team, you will learn every phase of a project from estimating and design coordination through procurement, fabrication, installation, and project closeout.\nThis position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, enjoys learning technical information, communicates well with others, and takes pride in helping projects succeed.\nYou are not expected to know everything on day one. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Through mentorship and hands-on experience, you'll gradually take ownership of projects while developing the technical and leadership skills needed for a successful career.\nKey Responsibilities:\nBecome a trusted resource to the Project Manager and Project Executive by proactively supporting project execution from award through closeout.\nMaintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date project documentation, ensuring all project records are complete and easily accessible.\nCommunicate professionally and proactively with customers, architects, general contractors, vendors, fabrication teams, and internal departments to keep projects moving forward.\nTake ownership of assigned responsibilities by identifying issues early, proposing solutions, and following tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.\nDevelop a strong working knowledge of architectural metal systems, building enclosure systems, fabrication methods, installation practices, and applicable industry standards.\nAssist in developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules while monitoring critical milestones, procurement activities, fabrication, and installation progress.\nCoordinate and review shop drawings, engineering documents, fabrication details, and field measurements to ensure accuracy prior to production.\nPrepare field sketches, installation details, and coordination drawings to support fabrication and field operations.\nPrepare, track, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, samples, mock-ups, change orders, and project closeout documentation.\nTrack project costs, committed costs, purchase orders, and change orders while assisting with monthly project forecasting.\nCoordinate procurement activities and monitor material deliveries to support fabrication and installation schedules.\nSupport field operations by assisting with installation coordination, resolving technical issues, participating in site meetings, and conducting field measurements as required.\nPerform Quality Assurance and Quality Control inspections in both the fabrication shop and the field to verify compliance with project specifications, approved shop drawings, and company quality standards.\nAssist in developing project-specific safety plans, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and other required project safety documentation.\nReview drawings and specifications to identify scope gaps, constructability concerns, and coordination issues before fabrication begins.\nParticipate in field verification, mock-ups, and final punch list activities.\nLearn to independently manage increasingly complex architectural metals projects as experience grows.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nExperience and Qualifications:\nBachelor Degree Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or related major is required\n0-5 years experience working in construction, engineering, or manufacturing\nAbility and willingness to learn construction drawings and specifications\nProficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint)\nExperience in Bluebeam Revu a plus\nExperience with CAD and Revit a plus\nSoft Skills & Personal Attributes:\nSuccess in this position depends as much on attitude and work ethic as technical knowledge.
