The Software Developer is engaged in all phases of the development lifecycle which includes gathering and analyzing user / business system requirements, responding to outages, and creating application system models to support business operations.\n Develop, test and implement new systems and/or software\nDesign and update system/software database (applications, web sites, data communication processes and user interfaces)\nTest, maintain and recommend improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization\nInstall, customize, and integrate system/software packages\nFacilitate root cause analysis of system issues. Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing\nIdentify system performance improvement opportunities and impact and provide recommendations to management\nResolve complex technical design issues\nApply critical thinking to solve customer or operational requirements\nPerform tasks and applies knowledge of principles and methods necessary to meet operational requirements\nInterpret and explain products and/or processes\nReview and analyze data (user requirements, conversion requirements and design documents)\nProvide comprehensive support to internal customers and achieve resolution to problems or issues\nPrepare or maintain records\nOther functions as needed\n B.S./B.A. or M.B.A./M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, and/or equivalent formal training or work experience\nTwo (2) -
