As an Audio Visual Technician, you’re not just responsible for ensuring the normal operation of hotel equipment - you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.\n Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:\nAV Equipment Operations: Operate and maintain the hotel’s audio-visual equipment, including sound systems, microphones, projectors, screens, lighting, and video equipment.\nEvent & Meeting Support: Set up, operate, and monitor AV equipment for meetings, conferences, banquets, weddings, and other hotel events.\nTechnical Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to AV-related issues and troubleshoot equipment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted events.\nEquipment Setup & Breakdown: Install, configure, test, and dismantle AV equipment according to event requirements and schedules.\nPreventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of AV equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.\nSystem Monitoring: Monitor audio, video, lighting, and presentation systems during events and make adjustments as required.\nEquipment & Inventory Management: Maintain proper records of AV equipment, tools, cables, and accessories, and ensure all equipment is stored safely after use.\nGuest & Team Support: Work closely with guests, event organizers, and hotel departments to understand their AV requirements and provide technical support.\nDocumentation: Record maintenance activities, equipment issues, repairs, and any technical problems requiring further attention.\n At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member:\n A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality.
