Additionally the role is responsible for managing the above whilst ensuring that the building costs are managed in line with budget expectations.\nResponsible for supporting hotel compliance with all statutory Fire and Health and Safety legislation.\nDevelops and implements strategies that deliver products and services to exceed the needs and expectations of the hotels target customer and our employees, thus providing a return on investment to our owners.\nLead all engineering and maintenance operations across the hotel, ensuring the building, equipment, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards. \nEnsure full compliance with all Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and statutory regulations, including audits, risk assessments, training, and documentation. \nManage preventative maintenance programmes, budgets, and departmental costs to meet financial targets. \nOversee all plant and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, water treatment, and life safety systems. \nManage contractors and service providers, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard. \nSupport the planning and delivery of CAPEX projects and annual maintenance plans. \nMonitor and improve operational performance, presenting monthly results and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. \nOversee building IT systems in partnership with external providers. \nRecruit, develop, and lead the engineering team, fostering a positive, high-performing culture. \nWork closely with department heads to support hotel operations, guest satisfaction, and brand standards. \nSupports hotel in emergency or crisis management situations, on call 24 hours should the need arise\n What It Takes to Make the Stay\n At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member:\n A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality.
