As a Receiving Clerk, you’re not just supporting timely and accurate billing and payment collections - you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.\n Here's what you'll do during a typical day:\nEnters all non-edible merchandise into the computer, noting the received status shortages and all Other required information so merchandise is accounted for. prepares all outgoing records.\nNotifies person responsible for ordering merchandise when shipment arrives or if the shipment fails to arrive so that any discrepancies can be resolved. Signs, dates and time stamps all invoces on the respective receiving sheet, ensuring times are correctly identified\nChecks each item on the invoice against the applicable hotel docurnent, weighing, counting, verifying prices on each item and checking these against specifications to verify accuracy of delivery.\nAssists in the daily operation of the food storeroom, property stores and rotates all stock so that all items are fresh; involves transportation of heavy goods.\nFill requisitions to authorize outlets so all stock will be complete at each outlet and advises supervisor of items that are low or out-of-stock so that they can be reordered.\nAssists in conducting month-end inventories.\nWhat It Takes to Make the Stay\n At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member:\n A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality.
