Reporting to the Director, FP&A, you'll be the finance owner for the day-to-day planning, forecasting, and analysis of one of the company's fastest-scaling and most strategically important cost centers; from headcount and equity to cloud and commercial inference infrastructure. You'll own the monthly forecast end to end, build the models that explain where the money goes and why, and partner directly with Technology and Finance leadership to turn operational decisions into sharp financial trade-offs. It's a high-impact, high-visibility role with real ownership and a direct line to the leaders shaping one of the most exciting parts of our business.\nYou Will:\nOwn the tactical execution of the monthly forecast for the Technology organization, including headcount cost, equity, stock-based compensation (SBC), and other operating expenses.\n\nLead detailed budget-versus-actuals (BvA) analysis each month, surfacing drivers, explaining variances, and flagging risks and opportunities to Finance and Technology leadership.\n\nPrepare the monthly budget deck and supporting analysis, turning the numbers into a clear narrative that leadership can act on.\n\nManage headcount pacing and partner with hiring managers on trade-offs across open roles, timing, and backfills against the plan.\n\nOwn other opex pacing across the Technology org, partnering with budget owners to keep spend aligned to plan.\n\nBuild and maintain detailed models for cloud and infrastructure spend, including commercial inference and other usage-driven costs, and partner with Technology leaders to forecast, pace, and optimize this spend.\n\nDrive resource tagging and initiative-level tracking so that spend is transparent, attributable, and tied back to the work it supports.\n\nPartner with Technology and Finance leadership on trade-off decisions, budget understanding, and the financial implications of strategic and operational choices.\n\nYou Have:\nB.S. in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n\n4+ years of experience in FP&A, finance business partnership, strategic finance, or a related analytic field.\n\n4+ years of experience building and manipulating financial models and large data sets in Excel or Google Sheets.\n\nA strong command of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, with the ability to move fluidly between the details and the big picture.\n\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with non-finance partners and translate financial concepts for a technical audience.\n\nA bias toward ownership and action - comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.\n\nNice to Have:\nExperience partnering with a Technology, Engineering, or Product organization.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud/infrastructure cost modeling (e.g., AWS/GCP/Azure) and usage-based or consumption-driven cost structures, including AI/ML compute or inference spend.\n\nExperience with equity and SBC forecasting.\n\nExperience with ERP and planning systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, Anaplan, Pigment, or similar).\n\nOur Benefits (there are more but here are some highlights):\nCompetitive salary & equity compensation for full-time roles\n\nUnlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days\n\nComprehensive health benefits including medical, dental & vision, and parental leave\n\nEmployee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)\n\n401k benefits with employer matching contribution\n\nOffsite team retreats\n\nWe are committed to building a workforce that reflects diverse perspectives and prioritizes ethics, wellness, and a strong sense of belonging.
