You will leverage your problem-solving abilities, motivation, and experience to determine order mix and quantities that support sales and inventory goals while optimizing storage capacity. We are looking for a self-starter that will drive process improvement by building out tools and metrics to support operations planning.\nYou Will:\nOwn buying recommendations for generic Rx, branded, and non-Rx finished goods based on reorder points, safety stock, and the demand forecast\n\nPartner with Demand Planning to flag forecast changes that affect the supply plan and align on risks and opportunities\n\nPartner with Supply Chain on supplier allocations, MOQs, and lead times so buying recommendations reflect real supply constraints\n\nPlan inventory across multiple sites and recommend PO reroutes to balance stock and prevent shortages\n\nPerform a weekly inventory reconciliation to ensure the data reflects accurate inventory numbers\n\nTrack and report Weeks of Cover, E&O, and inventory turns for assigned categories, and own corrective actions when they drift\n\nBalance service level against inventory investment and flag the working capital impact of buy decisions to Finance\n\nTrack upcoming expirations, NDC changes, new product launches, and SKU transitions; coordinate with other material planners on the team so packaging and/or collateral and finished goods inventory cut over together, and with the sites to quarantine and dispose of product\n\nArticulate and document all risks resulting from inventory levels including disposals, risk due to expiration and inventory shortages\n\nBring buy, risk, and disposal recommendations to Ops Planning leadership and cross-functional partners, and drive decisions to closure\n\nWork with cross functional partners in Supply Chain and Operations to solve inventory overages and shortages\n\nIdentify gaps in planning processes and tools and improve them, partnering with analytics to automate reporting and buying recommendations\n\nMentor and cross-train other planners on the team, and help set planning standards across categories\n\nSupport raw material and packaging planning and special projects as the team's scope grows\n\nYou Have:\n5+ years experience in supply or inventory planning, ideally finished goods in a regulated, lot-controlled environment (pharma, OTC, or CPG)\n\nBachelor's degree required, preferably in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field\n\n3+ years experience with ERP systems, planning systems and replenishment systems is preferred\n\nExcel and Google Sheet proficiency including experience with data manipulations - Lookups, PivotTables, External Data Connections\n\nSQL experience preferred; BigQuery a plus\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner\n\nExperience presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions without direct authority\n\nAbility to think through complex problems and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities\n\nDetail-oriented and exceptionally organized\n\nOur Benefits (there are more but here are some highlights):\nCompetitive salary & equity compensation for full-time roles\n\nUnlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days\n\nComprehensive health benefits including medical, dental & vision, and parental leave\n\nEmployee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)\n\n401k benefits with employer matching contribution\n\nOffsite team retreats\n\nWe are committed to building a workforce that reflects diverse perspectives and prioritizes ethics, wellness, and a strong sense of belonging.
